Used to be no issues but now there is…

Been ordering from here around 2 year now I think but last 2/3 orders I’ve getting (monthly lenses) for some reason I’m chucking my left lense after 2 weeks they constantly start to get irritating even after been in cleaning solution over night.

Ordered Glasses on the 23rd November

Ordered Glasses on the 23rd November. They were due to be despatched on 7th December.When I contacted contactlenses.co.uk they said they had emailed their Glazer's but they never got a response from them. Had to ask for a refund .

Rude and Aggressive DPD driver dropping…

"Rude and Aggressive DPD driver dropping off contact lenses. I have to leave a two-star review because of the DPD driver he was extremely rude, and had no manners at all, I was shocked by his behaviour, I am not feeling well I'm sick so I didn't want to open the door increase I had COVID from the window I asked the driver to just post lenses, and he literally said to me: ""No, open the door now"" with an incredibly rude tone in his voice I would have told him to do one if, it wasn't for the fact that I needed the lenses for tomorrow so I went down and I opened the door, he had a face on, and chucks the package on the floor in disgust and proceeds to take a photo of it. Didn't bother explaining anything to me (although I know sometimes they take a photo, usually for high-value items, the first time I've seen them do it for contact lenses for G-d's sake) his English was really poor but honestly, that does not excuse you from not having any manners. He could have said, Sir please could you open the door we have to take a photo of it, and then said please and thank you, I am so shocked at his attitude. He is a problem, I called contactlensess and spoke to a lovely lady and she said she would get someone to look into it as it's a 3rd party company she was also kind enough to refund me the 5er for the delivery and added an extra 5er for the trouble. What if I was a female or a vulnerable person? As a man I felt like he wanted a fight I can't imagine how a woman or someone who isn't as confident would have felt, I didn't pay extra to be abused by some 3rd party rent boy for DPD, how dare you come to my house and abuse me when I've paid extra for delivery infuriating behaviour. I can't really blame contactlensess never had issues with them they've always been sound. Anyway, I need to calm myself down, writing the review is making me angry, wow. just wow."

Lenses were fine

"Lenses were fine. But do you have any idea how many companies email me after I buy from them asking me ""How did we do?"" etc? ALL OF THEM!! It's mild collective harassment on the part of marketing convention. it's called 'Relationship Marketing', but you're not doing it for my benefit, it's to keep you in my thoughts. But it's not a good way to build a relationship. And it's not necessary, anyway. When I need lenses I buy them from you! 'Til then, stop interrupting my day! ;-)"

Something has gone very wrong lately...

Something has gone very wrong lately. If you filter these reviews by the most recent, you'll see I'm not alone in my dissatisfaction. I'm sure I'll get the same 'copy & pase' reply that all of the other reviews are getting but I'm writing this to help potential customers avoid disappointment - At least until they have sorted their issues out. I've had to resort to wearing my glasses for a week, after running out of lenses which has been a pain. Order placed weeks ago and still no sign of it being sent. I called last week and I was told my order was being sent the following day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but my order was never sent. Further supply issues I believe? This has gone on for too long now so I've requested a refund and sourced a new supplier. A real shame after almost a decade or being a happy customer.

Sadly gone bad

Sadly gone bad. Used them for nearly 3 years, and could not fault them. They're very helpful and have been flawless,but now cannot provide the lenses I used anymore. Says 30 days but been months. Had to get a refund which they did. I've now found another company luckily. Sadly I will have to use the other company now. Same price too thankfully.

Always out of stock

My normal contacl lenses have been out of stock for months now, the Crystal Aqua Daily, why on earth they have been out of stock is beyond me. I have to use other ones which are not as good or comfortable.

I usually buy my lenses from here

I usually buy my lenses from here. Was down to my last 2 pairs of dailies. Reason I buy from here is they provide next day delivery over a certain spend. I ordered on Monday patiently waiting until delivery was on Thursday! Obviously it will depend on when the courier received the item but still when you use lenses daily it’s not a good customer experience when there’s a delay receiving them.

order came very late

The order came very late even though it said 2-3 days shipping. It only came until after I made a complaint online, and I don’t think that was a coincidence. I will still be ordering however, as these lenses are the cheapest I’ve seen, and I’m struggling financially at the moment.

in all fairness i have used this…

in all fairness i have used this company many times without issue the last time i ordered it took slightly longer than other times but nothing major as i was in a hurry this time i decided to pay the extra £5 to have next day delivery big mistake it actually took longer to arrive than if i had left it as normally very disappointed

Significant price increase, way above the current level of inflation

The price of my regular repeat order rose by almost £50 , from £227, in July 2022 to £275 in January 2023. This was for a6 month supply I have been buying my contact lens from Contactlenses.co.uk, for many years and am a loyal returning customer. However given this huge, increase this time around, i will be looking elsewhere for my next 6 monthly purchase

Delivery took too long.

I have been a customer for many years but this particular order didn’t go well. I waited a very long time for my lenses to arrive, I accept there was a postal strike but they took a long time to be dispatched too. Next time I won’t leave it so late to order as I actually ran out ahead of my delivery arriving, I became too complacent of previous deliveries being so quick. A little disappointed this time.

Odd and disappointing experience

Firstly received a random item (which I think was an issue with the courier company not ContactLenses), but since using the lenses for 4-5 days, they're really thick and just don't sit on my eyes at all sadly.

Dry and Nasty …

The contacts become unbearable to wear after about two hours. They are dry and horrible. I was absolutely gutted as read through everything and expected greatness.

Had to wait a over a week for my lenses…

Had to wait a over a week for my lenses to be sent as they were not in stock, and I'd said I would accept a substitute. Finally got them through and the lenses they've sent are not the same quality, keep getting blurry vision in one eye where I've never had any issues before.

Always get my lenses here

Always get my lenses here. Ordered some of my regular ones. None is stock so they sent me an alternative and I have to say they are shocking, trouble is I bought 3 months worth so I’m stuck with them 🙄

Bit disappointing

I've used this website for years and…

I've used this website for years and always used to have the crystal monthly and had no issues with either making or receiving my order nor with my eyes from the contacts. Since they have been discontinued I have had numerous issues with my orders and the recommended alternatives do not agree with my eyes and have also split down the middle while wearing them. I'm extremely reluctant to order again

Disappointed at 20% price increase in 6 months

Contact Lenses are fine, but very disappointed with price. When last ordered in September 2021, each box was £14.99. In March 2022 the price had increased to £17.99 per box - an increase of more than 20%! As I needed them urgently, I paid, but will source elsewhere for next time.

Quick delivery, good product. Unfortunately, when I emailed with a query, I was completely ignored, therefore I can’t give more then 3 stars… make that 2 as it was an important query and I’m still mad about it.

Due to a problem with delivery by…

Due to a problem with delivery by Johnson and Johnson my lenses to an inordinate amount of time to be delivered . I’m not blaming contactlenses..co.U.K. as the representative apologised for the delay and offered a discount on my next purchase . I hope there will be no further delays in the future .

They are pretty rubbish if I'm honest…

They are pretty rubbish if I'm honest they are too thin, keep either falling out or going up into the top of my eye, my eyes start to feel dry by about 2pm everyday. But when you buy cheap you buy twice.

Took nearly two weekels to dispatch

Took nearly two weekels to dispatch, but of course they took my money at the start! It used to be next or second day delivery. Wont be buying from here again.

Very disappointed

Easy to use website. Unfortunately the lenses were no good and I know my prescription was right as just had them done but they were extremely blurey, So I won't be 're ordering.

I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my…

I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my contact lenses to arrive. On ordering at the time I wasn't aware these were not available. I received an email days later to say they were unavailable and would not receive them until the 31st December. I was very disappointed as usually they arrive within a couple of days and have always been extremely prompt on service and delivery.

Fast delivery, terrible contacts

I wasn’t going to leave a review but got emailed asking for one. I tried this company as my usual supplier was out of stock. I bought Crystal Comfort, which is a similar price to my regular ones. I have been using contacts lenses for years without issues, trying multiple types. I wore the ones from this company for just a few hours before my eyes were itchy, bloodshot, and my left eye started to water constantly. They became very sore by the time I got home and could take them out (after 8 hours use.) I took them out yesterday but my eyes are still so sore I can’t use any others yet! They delivered very quickly, so can’t fault the customer service, but the quality of the product is shockingly poor. First order will obviously be my last.

I can't justify 30% price increases

For years Contactlenses.co.uk has been the only site I use to get my lenses. I was about to re-order as I do every 3 months but I notice the price of the brand I want has increased 30% :( I can't afford the extra so I'm off to a cheaper competitor, hopefully their service will be as good. Too bad, so sad.
