So happy that I stopped my boot contact lens scheme

So happy that I stopped my boots contact lens scheme membership and decide to buy from Contectlenses.co.uk. I have halved my monthly bill !! Products are fantastic and posted same day and they can remined you monthly, bi monthly etc to re order. Can`t recommend enough :-)

Delivered on time

Delivered on time, a star has been knocked off because the company seems to have had a lot of logistic and procurement issues with contact lenses frequently out of stock for months at a time. This is very recent (in the last year) and I'm sure there are reasons beyond control but obviously with medical products it causes real problems. I am -10 and very active, wearing my glasses for daily activities isn't tenable and with eyesight this bad I need reliable sources of contact lenses!

Misleading customers

"Misleading customers. Selling stuff they do not have making people WAIT. I ordered lenses that I needed to take with me on holiday. It said ""delivery 1-3 working days"". Waiting for 4 days - nothing. Then logged back in to check and it turned out this info ONLY AFTER THEY ARE IN STOCK. So WHY DO YOU WRITE DELIVERY IN 1-3 DAYS? You need to write delivery in 1-3 days + how many days we are going to wait to get them ordered for you. Hate businesses that SELL WHAT THEY DO NOT HAVE. If they did show them out of stock I would have ordered somewhere else, and got them on time. Hateful cheaters just willing to get money and not willing to provide service."

Great products even better service

I've been buying from contactlenses.co.uk for over 10 years. I branched out and tried 2 other sites recently when my usual products were out of stock and I've come running straight back! The products they offer are great quality and best value and on top of that, in the whole time I've been buying lenses I've had to contact customer services maybe 3 or 4 times and every time they have been so helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else and would highly recommend to anyone!

GREAT COMPANY, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I always get my lens solutions and my disposable contact lenses from this company. I have done so for a few years now. I have always found them to be very professional. I get my delivery pretty quickly most times and the items are well packaged. My only gripe this time - and this isn't contactlenses.co.uk's fault - but I wasn't able to purchase my lens solution as a twin pack. I like to do this, as it works out a bit cheaper than buying the bottles individually. I think Alcon (who makes it) has decided to discontinue the Twin Packs for some reason. Grrrrgghhh. This is clearly not this company's fault though - I have been really happy with them. Their customer service is very good too, as when I contacted them regarding an order, they were very helpful.

10% increase in cost

Feel a 10% increase on cost of my usual order is too much even with inflation.Was ÂŁ47 in May.Now is ÂŁ57.Still cheaper than most but would question reasoning for increase.

I've used this company for a few years now to buy my contacts. They've always been really good. Up until now, the only negative experiences I've had have been when I've bought cheaper lenses that irritated my eyes, and that's my fault. Most of their lenses have been great quality and I wear them for really long days with no problems. But recently everything's out of stock! Even coloured lenses. Not great when you've run out and need them quickly. I'm having to reuse my daily disposable lenses now so will have to buy somewhere else this time which is a shame.

Been using this company for nearly a decade

As you can see on a lot of the below reviews people (including myself) have been using this company for nearly a decade with out any problems at all. I have used this company for a LONG time without one single problem, very very quick shipping and reasonable costs. Yes my most recent order has been delayed but isn't everything at the moment? If you have used a company for nearly a decade they must have been doing something right. The below one star reviews are unfair I have received regular updates since making my order. Yes it's not ideal that it has taken longer than usual but again this is the first ever time there has been a delay.

A company in trouble that don't have the honesty to stop taking people's money.

Ordered from them, after they had started having problems (I hadn't realised and they hadn't got the honesty to stop receiving orders that they couldn't fulfil). I get regular emails promising me at some point I'll receive my order. Today I've asked for a refund, I went to a rival and received my lenses within 2 days.

Huge delays

Very few lenses in stock. Went ahead and ordered different ones. After a week I still hadn’t received anything. Checked and currently dispatch taking over a week from ordering. Surely they need to make this a banner on top of the front page of their website? Emailed to cancel only to be told emails taking three days to reply to. Something has gone very wrong lately...

Something has gone very wrong lately. If you filter these reviews by the most recent, you'll see I'm not alone in my dissatisfaction. I'm sure I'll get the same 'copy & pase' reply that all of the other reviews are getting but I'm writing this to help potential customers avoid disappointment - At least until they have sorted their issues out. I've had to resort to wearing my glasses for a week, after running out of lenses which has been a pain. Order placed weeks ago and still no sign of it being sent. I called last week and I was told my order was being sent the following day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but my order was never sent. Further supply issues I believe? This has gone on for too long now so I've requested a refund and sourced a new supplier. A real shame after almost a decade or being a happy customer.

Sadly seem to have gone very bad

Sadly seem to have gone bad. Have used successfully for many years, but have been waiting over a month for my order with constant promises of dispatch that are never met. Sadly gone bad

Sadly gone bad. Used them for nearly 3 years, and could not fault them. They're very helpful and have been flawless,but now cannot provide the lenses I used anymore. Says 30 days but been months. Had to get a refund which they did. I've now found another company luckily. Sadly I will have to use the other company now. Same price too thankfully.

Have used them for years but now they are failing

Have used them for years, but since 3 June 2023 they have failed to deliver my lenses. I got a refund for my June order, thought I’d try again with a different brand of lenses (which was their advice) on July 1st. It is now 17th July and nothing received except for apology emails. I seems like they are failing again. Something has gone horribly wrong with this business.

And still waiting...

Back on the 7th June I placed my first order with this company. After waiting over 3 weeks, my order was cancelled. An apology was sent, along with a discount to order a different set. These were ordered on the 27th June. I am still waiting. It has taken me to chase the order to be told I would be contacted again the following day. This never happened and I have now been told to wait till Tuesday. It is a constant circle of poor organisational skills, a complete let down, and never ending wait. A second chance was given, but there won't be a third. We all have issues, but it is how it is handled using great customer services to reach out first, not waiting for customers to leave or chase themselves.

"Ordered over 15 days ago, and after chasing was told they would be shipped in 1-3 days and that they would update me the following day. 3 days later, still not shipped and no updates provided as they promised. Update: They have now emailed to say ""our stock is currently unavailable. You should have received some emails about this the management team sent."" Seems odd they dont have access to the stock and Ive not received emails from the management team. Update: Did receive my order, unfortunately the 30% discount they promised was no where to be seen."

Really shocking fall from grace in…

"Really shocking fall from grace in customer service. I've been buying contact lenses from contactlenses.co.uk for over 10 years now, and recently I've noticed a massive drop in quality of service. I originally bought crystal daily disposables, and had to wait a week (when I noticed my order was still ""processing"") before I called up contactlenses.co.uk, and was informed that they don't do these anymore (no idea why my order processed for a full week before I was told this). Desperate for contact lenses, I bought 2 boxes of Focus Dailies and even paid extra for 1st class delivery... this was a week ago, and still have yet to get any news about the delivery of my contact lenses. I contacted customer support and found Sophie to be very helpful and sympathetic, but ultimately I feel like the company as a whole has really gone downhill. I haven't been able to drive or exercise without my contacts and feel really annoyed that I have had to go to so much effort and still haven't received a couple boxes of contact lenses. The unavoidable changes we had to make regarding our suppliers and distribution caused unexpected issues, and continued longer than we had initially expected. This is the first time in over 15 years we have encountered such a disruption and it is regrettable so many of our loyal and long standing customers experienced such a delay and inconvenience. Our usual speedy delivery and customer support is back to our normal high standards. It is unfortunate that our supply issues with Crystal is not yet back to normal just yet, but many branded lenses have been discounted to help cover wearers until we can supply this brand again. We hope that the great service we have provided you before this situation will encourage you to allow us, to provide you again with your lenses and our services.
